چکیده
The clay soil can present various issues as a construction and infrastructure material. Clay is susceptible to shrinkage swelling, limited bearing capacity, poor drainage, erosion. Several techniques, including stabilization, drainage systems, excavation may alleviate these control the risks associated with soil. There growing interest in stabilization developing environmentally friendly alternatives Portland cement. Alternative utilization of waste pozzolanic properties stabilizing material replace cement lime increasing. In this field, use materials such fly ash eggshell powder This study examines shear strength treated mixture geopolymer. unconsolidated, undrained triaxial test was performed determine addition, effects sample variation, NaOH molarity, curing duration, ratio replaced ash, were studied. results demonstrated that 5% might boost increasing molarity resulted higher values, showing geopolymer has more substantial binding effect. However, extending period impacts stabilized established viability agent for Including enhance

Effect of Glass Powder and GGBS on Strength of Fly Ash Based Geopolymer Concrete
In this study, the effect of glass powder (GP) and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) on the compressive strength of Fly ash based geopolymer concrete has been investigated. The mass ratio of fine aggregate (fA) to coarse aggregate (CA) was maintained constant. NaOH flakes dissolved in water was used as activating liquid and mixed with fly ash (FA) to produce geopolymer paste or cement...
متن کاملStudy on Strength Behavior of Organic Soil Stabilized with Fly Ash
The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of fly ash on the consistency, compactness, acidic properties, and strength of organic soil. The presence of organic content in the soil has detrimental impacts on the physical and strength behavior of soil. To investigate the effectiveness of fly ash in the stabilization of organic soil, two types of fly ashes (Type I and Type II) at different...
متن کاملFly Ash-Based Geopolymer Mortar Incorporating Bottom Ash
This paper presents the results of study on effect of various parameters on mechanical properties of fly ash-based geopolymer mortar with bottom ash as partial or full replacement for sand. Compressive strength of samples with 10% bottom ash (BA) was comparable to those with only sand. Further increase in bottom ash content decreased the compressive strength. However, the reverse tendency occur...
متن کاملALKALI Activated FLY-ASH Based Geopolymer Concrete
Considering the increasing demand for developing alternative construction materials, due to the growing environmental concerns, this paper discusses the feasibility of alkali activated geo-polymer concrete, as a future construction material. The main objective of this study involves observation of structural behaviours of the fresh fly ash-based geo-polymer concrete, understanding the basic mix...
متن کاملProduction geopolymer materials by coal fly ash
Coal ash is the main waste from power plant. It is estimated that the consumption of the coal for power plant will increase to 240 million tons each year and the coal ash wastes will produce more than 2 million tons per year. Although the utilization of coal fly ash can be reached 74.1%, large amount of coal fly ash and bottom ash still cannot be utilized. The purpose of this research is to dev...
